Review | Collection Lasting Perfection Foundation

A few weeks ago when I was passing through Cork Airport, I got talking to a girl in duty free about make up. She was admiring my Collection glitter eye liner and told me she loves their Lasting Perfection foundation. I normally use Estee Lauder Double Wear but I’m short on pennies at the moment, so I thought I’d give it a go!

I decided to go with Ivory because porcelain can be a bit hit and miss with me. I applied it using my Real Techniques stippling brush and it went on beautifully! It didn’t dry in too quick so I had time to blend it in to my liking. It felt super light on my face and didn’t leave me with a cakey finish! As always, I applied Max Factor Creme Puff powder to set the foundation in place.

I work in a bar on the weekends and a busy Friday night was the perfect opportunity to test it out. Where I’m rushing about it can get hot and I usually have to top up my powder but for once I didn’t have to!  I think I might have to try the Porcelain shade as Ivory is a tiny bit too dark for me. One more thing is that it doesn’t go the full distance. Don’t get me wrong, after 12 hours of wear it still looked OK but, it had worn off my skin a bit.

If you’re looking for a budget foundation I’d definitely recommend picking this one up. It might not agree with everyone but at £5.99 it’s worth giving it a go!

Sorry for another absence! I’ve been working my backside off over the last few weeks for my trips abroad. In my next post I’ll be telling you all about what I got up to in Amsterdam!

Toodles for now!
